Privacy

YOink stores the profile information you provide (display name, username, country, short message, and an optional picture chosen from YOink’s provided set, or your initials) and uses your current profile on live title cards. Past ownership pages keep a snapshot of how you appeared at the time of that reign.

Authentication is handled by Supabase Auth and uses your email. Payments are processed by Stripe. YOink does not store full payment card details. We may store payment-related identifiers such as a checkout session or payment intent id so we can fulfil a YOink or recover a failed charge.

Publicly visible information includes your username, display name, optional avatar, optional country, optional message, current and past title holds, reaction counts on live titles, and live activity about YOinks. Avatars are either your initials or one of the pictures YOink provides, and are shown on public title, profile, and share surfaces. You can react without signing in. In that case YOink stores a random first-party guest cookie so your browser can change or remove its own reaction. That cookie is not a login, is not shown publicly, and is displayed only as “Guest”.

We also store reports you submit and privacy-conscious analytics event names. Analytics do not include full card details or other payment secrets.
